History Founded in 2015 by Eric Nii Tetteh, the SocietyAid Ghana (SAID) is registered under Ghana’s Companies Codes, 1963 (Act 179) and recognized as a Non-Governmental Organization with registration No. DSW/7126 and address for these purposes at adjacent Church of Christ, P.O Box BJ 21, Awutu Bawjiase, Ghana. The Organization is an independent and nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection of children and women in Awutu Senya District and Ghana entirely. It is inspired by the founder’s passion for practical and sustainable development and aims at advancing effective child protection, vocational advancements and women socioeconomic growth. In furtherance of its objectives, SocietyAid Ghana seeks collaboration and strategic partnerships with public and private agencies, civil society organizations, as well as international development partners in program initiation and implementation Society Aid Ghana, is a member of Girls Not Brides; The Global Partnership to End Child Marriage, a global partnership of more than 900 civil society organizations (CSOs) from over 95 countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the America and united by commitment to work in partnership to end child marriage and enable girls to fulfill their potential.
